I’ve struggled my whole life with fitness and weight loss and I’ve tried many things over the years. I joined Balance in March 2019 because I knew I needed a change and the six week challenge seemed interesting. I figured I could give it a try for just six weeks. When I started I honestly didn’t believe I’d actually meet my goal but somewhere along the way the staff at Balance helped me believe I could do it. I have met (and exceeded) that initial weight loss goal but what I found in the process was much more important then what I lost. ....I found belief in myself. I found a healthy relationship with food. I found that the scale is just a number. I found strength and determination. I found commitment and consistency. I’ve found a passion for fitness and running. I’ve found that mindset matters - “I can or I can’t” - and that decision is up to me. However, I’m most grateful for the community I’ve found and the friends I’ve made in joining Balance. Balance fitness is more then just a gym. Balance is full of inspirational, motivational, and encouraging people. Real people who celebrate successes, motivate after set-backs, and encourage you to keep showing up for yourself. The owners (Erika & Jade), trainers, staff, and members are some of the most amazing, genuine, caring, and supportive people I’ve ever met. I so glad I found this community.
